Hello Lori: Just wanted to let you and your husband know that Shortcake is doing well. I took her to the vet this morning and they said that she is perfect! She weighed in at a whopping 1 1/2 lbs. She is thriving. I decided to name her Grizzly. She reminded me of a little bear. She is beautiful. Thank you. Gary and Elaine Cloer.By the way, I tried to go on line to the Canidae web site to order some chewy things for her, but I can't figure out what to hit to be able to order. It just throws me to the locations, and I would rather order on line. Any suggestions?THANKS FOR MR & MRS G. CLOER FOR THEIR PURCHASE OF THIS LITTLE BLACK CUTIE! IT WAS JUST BEFORE CHRISTMAS AND THIS LOVELY COUPLE LOST THEIR POMERANIAN THAT THEY DEARLY LOVED TO A LARGE DOG ATTACK! I HOPE THIS LITTLE DARLIN' HELPS THEM THROUGH THEIR GRIEF! LORI

Good afternoon Lori,
Here are some pictures finally of our sweet, cuddly, excited, feisty, wonderful, playful puppy. Zelda is standing up all by herself. She loves her dresses. In the picture of all three of them Zelda is peeking on the left corner of the picture. TOO cute. Enjoy !!
I am so sorry I have not sent any pictures of baby Zelda to you, I have taken so many but I also have been so busy and I have had the flu for the past 2 weeks.
Zelda is absolutely beautiful; she is such a joy to all of us. Zack (meatball) plays and plays with her. Zoë Rose still is a bit upset but is coming around very slowly.
Zelda loves to follow – she eats when Zack and Zoë eats, drinks a lot and loves to play with her toys. She loves to play tug of war with Zack – to cute to see her little strong mouth holding on while Zack tries to pull at the toy. We just laugh. To precious. She is getting to be a big girl Lori – her fur right now is all fluffy and spiky – everyday it looks different. She weighed last week at the vet’s office almost 3 pounds already. She is the love at the vet. She is almost done with her every 3 week puppy visits – cha ching. Her next appointment is Next Saturday.
Zelda loves to run and jump ( which scares Henry and I so we have pillows all over the floor) and is so active by 9:00 p.m. or earlier sometimes she is snuggling in her open crate or on us, we always have her crate open during the time we are with her and sometimes she just goes into her crate for a cat nap. At night I have her in her snuggly, comfy, crate on a TV tray right beside my bed with her blankets and a couple stuffed puppy animals, she is doing better on sleeping through the night. She was getting us up to around 1:00 a.m. and then 3:30 a.m. but now she wakes up when the alarm is just about the ring which is 5:45 a.m. We then take her downstairs to play until we both have to go to work.
During our working hours she has the run of our good size master bathroom, we have not let her stay downstairs with Zack and Zoë yet – I am going to wait for a while for that. She is just too busy and I don’t want her to get into something and hurt herself. She’s a nut,
She is doing pretty well on the piddle pads, although she seems to like the dining room carpet so we have been watching her a lot closer lately. All three of my babies are so fun and so, so, so, cute and cuddly.
I saw your new babies – how precious are they, like little snow balls.
I can not wait until she wants to be cuddled more, she is such a excited puppy and she has not really snuggled to much with us yet, but I know that is due to her only being 17 weeks old. Zack and Zoë all they do is snuggle on us and Zelda is usually jumping on them to play. She does sleep on my lap only when she has played hard through out the day. She is a feisty one.
I hope all is well with you and Tom and your puppies too!
Lets keep in touch
Warm regards, Lorrie & Henry & Zelda & Zack & Zoë ♥
